Overview
This turnkey project aimed at an integrated end-to-end news workflow, comprising:
Revamping of the newsroom, editing, and ingest rooms.
Installation and deployment of a complete Avid and Vizrt system that supports a comprehensive 24/7 news channel workflow, ranging from ingest to studio playback. This includes ingest control with video servers, media storage, production management system, editing units, newsroom system, graphics system, studio control, and playback.
Scope of Work
– Assembled a competent team to lead and manage each project phase
– Oversaw and adjusted all project deliverables in line with the agreed standards
– Ensured delivery of hardware and software within an 8–12-week timeframe post-contract signature
– Managed the deployment of the system in a live environment and planned the migration to the new system without any interruption to the 24/7 news channel’s operations
– Oversaw dry runs, on-air launches, and post-live support during the COVID-19 pandemic
