Teradata Performance Enhancement 2020
Overview
This project aimed to enhance the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Production with a storage capacity of 100 Terabytes, excluding Fallback. The scope of work involved improving the performance of the production system by adding 180 Teradata Cores (TCores).
Scope of Work
Our primary role was to ensure the delivery of hardware within 2-3 months
– FX 2.1: Hardware priced per Tcore
– IFX 2.1: Critical Data Storage per TB, with 6.4TB Drives
– 9400 Cabinet: Included Server Management VMS, Infiniband
– Vantage Software: This was a part of the Production Enterprise Tier per TCore, billed annually
Intellisphere Software:
This included Unity, QueryGrid, Data Stream Architecture, and AppCenter. The scope also involved installation, data migration, and project implementation
