Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse System Delivery and Services for Al Rajhi Bank - DCM Project EDW New System and Hadoop DRC Expansion
Overview
This project involved the delivery of a new system – IFX2.1 – to supplant Al Rajhi Bank’s existing DRC appliance system. The objective was to meet the bank’s standard for a Disaster Recovery Centre (DRC) system with matching capacity and performance to the production system. This ensures the ability to support the same number of users and workloads if the production system fails. The project also covered the expansion requirements for Hadoop DRC, which included the addition of extra nodes to the DRC system, as well as their installation and configuration.
Scope of Work
– The delivery of the Teradata IFX2.1 system inclusive of hardware (HW) and software (SW) components
– Providing ongoing infrastructure support for the Teradata system
