Tunnel Ventilation System, Riyadh Metro
Overview
Develop execution of Engineering, shop drawing, supply, install, test, and commission a SIL2 TVS to manage smoke heat generated from train/tunnel fires and cool down the temperature in the tunnel for Line 1 (Olaya St) and Line 2 (King Abdullah Road):
– 17 Deep Underground Stations (Line 1)
– 6 Shallow Stations (Line 2)
– 2 Ventilation Shafts (Line 1)
Scope of Work
– Design Verification and Detailed Design: Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Control Including all shop drawings
– FGC has mobilized the needed team (400 manpower at the PEAK):
1- Project Management and Construction Management
2- Logistics Team
3- Installation Team
4- Design Team in all disciplines
5- QA/QC and Safety Teams
6- FGC was able to overcome all the difficulties encountered in the project
